Cody Groce

Hey guys, my name is Cody Groce (yes, pronounced like gross). I was born in Lewistown, PA and moved here to this great state in the 5th grade. I’m an Organizational Communications major and I plan on going into life-long ministry after college! I’m excited to serve on leadership. Besides the BCM, I’m in the ULL Pride of Acadiana Marching Band. I love music. I play acoustic guitar and bass guitar for REVOLUTION. You probably recognize me from Izzo’s Illegal Burritos, which is where I work. I love reading, but I’m not much of a writer. I may come off as shy or stuck up at first, but once I learn your name, we’ll probably be best friends in no time. I’m a member of East Bayou Baptist Church, where I invest my time into the middle school students there. I hope that we make a difference in your life this year! AIYEE!

Michelle Young

Sup! My name is Michelle, but feel free to call me myoungme-shell, or anything else you feel like coming up with! I am from a tiny town in north Louisiana that goes by Benton. I  am an Electrical Engineering major here at ULL. The bcm has been a small huge part of my college life. It has been a way for me to meet many new friends that are a positive impact in my life. I didn’t know anyone when I moved here, so that was a blessing. It has also helped me to grow in my walk with the Lord. I have learned a lot about myself, and I am continuously learning things about God, and the plans he has for my life.  My favorite bible verse is Hebrews 13:3 which states “Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” This verse has always stuck out to me because if I were ever faced with sever persecution I hope and pray that I would have the faith to endure it.  I look forward to meeting you all!

Robert Willie

Hey, my name is Robert Willie; I am from Belle Chasse, Louisiana (south of New Orleans, on the Bestbank). I am studying Mechanical Engineering and plan to enjoy some more time in and around this campus.  I like running, biking outside and reading but not at the same time.  Other activities that you might find me doing at the BCM are playing the Wii, playing carpet ball(it’s okay that you may not know what that is, you can come and find out), ping-pong (notice the picture), foosball and pool.  You can also find me in the College House at First Baptist Church Lafayette, which is the church I attend when I am at school.  I can say personally that the BCM is a place where you will be sure to find opportunities that will strengthen your relationship in Christ and with other Christians that come to school at ULL. We also invite those of other religions and denominations as well, after all we are here at this campus to “Helping Students Know Christ”; and if you are a student, you fit the criteria.   I would love to see you soon and hear your story, until next time!

Kristin Theriot

Ello there! My name is Kristin! I’m a computer science major who enjoys distance running, Brazilian jujitsu, and playing music. I lead the BCM’s girl small group, Girl Talk, and sing and play bass for our super groovy services on Tuesday nights, Revolution. I also have a Huge heart for missions in Asia. I look forward to meeting you and helping you grow in the Spirit!

Ronnie Wheat

My name is Ronnie Wheat! I have a growing hunger for my Lord and Savior, and an undeniable love and affection for my heavenly father. I enjoy acquiring information on any subject, to understand difficult concepts, and to think about and discuss any issue. I do not limit myself to new experiences or knowledge. I’m an active member of the BCM leadership team at ULL, and I’m so excited about serving and spreading the word of God’s Undying love to thousands upon thousands of college students. I pray that my heart and mind stay steadfast on God’s word as I grow closer to the Lord.

Coleen Hebert

Heyyyyy guys! I’m Coleen! I am from Houma, La but was raised here in the wonderful town of Lafayette.  I am an Elementary Education major at ULL. The BCM is where I spend majority of my time, doing homework and spending time with friends. Being a part of the BCM in college has helped me tremendously in every aspect of my life. There are so many amazing people you meet through it. I hope that you will also become a part of the ULL BCM!! It is truly my favorite place to be.  Ecclesiastes 3:1 is my life’s anthem. If you let go of the past and let God run your future, He promises that it will be worth your wildest dreams.  I hope to meet all of you one day!!!! Geaux Ragin Cajuns!!!
